COVID 19 - IMPORTANT
If you develop a fever or a cough DO NOT ENTER THE HEALTH CENTRE. You must self isolate for 7 days.
If you become very unwell please contact NHS 24 111. NHS 24 is now triaging all patients with COVID related concerns.
Visit www.nhsinform.scot for more information.
Changes to Access as a result of COVID-19
This GP Practice is currently restricting access for the safety of all patients and staff.
The practice remains open for all essential primary care problems but on advice of Health Protection Scotland we have put in place a process whereby everyone is screened by telephone prior to being seen.
Please try to avoid coming to the practice where possible.
All patients will still have access to the care they require.
We have set up a new temporary phone line to the practice. You can contact the practice on 01324 715540 or 01324 722458.
COVID 19: Sheilding
Some of you will have received letters from the Chief Medical Officer with specific advice because you are at the highest risk of becoming severely unwell if you develop Covid 19. You need to be shielded from the virus.
We aim to phone all people requiring shielding to offer support and answer any questions you may have before 13th April.
If you have received a letter, but no phone call by Monday 13th April, please phone the practice.
If you have not received a letter and believe you are in this group, please phone the practice.
- www.nhsinform.scot has a website section on “Covid 19: Shielding” which explains which people are in this highest risk group.
Our community pharmacy colleagues have been under great pressure and are working very hard at this challenging time. Please use the online ordering where at all possible, and leave 7 days for repeat prescriptions to be filled.
If you need to hand in a prescription, each of the 3 practices in the Health Centre will have a box at the front door for you to leave this. Samples can be left there too.
Medical care: not COVID related
We are triaging all requests for medical help, that means a Nurse or GP will call you on the phone, however please note you can make a telephone appointment with our Mental Health Nurse and Physio directly through our reception staff on the phone.
Please continue to practice social distancing and hand washing.
All staff at Braesview wish you and your family well at this difficult time.
