Meadowbank Health Centre is a purpose-built building constructed in 1993 and extensively renovated in 2009. There are four medical practices in the building along with a pharmacy, a physiotherapy department and a treatment nurse for minor injuries, dressings and vaccinations.

The practice also has a branch surgery at Shieldhill, which opens three mornings a week.

ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER -  CAN TREAT MANY THINGS THAT NORMALLY YOU WOULD SEE A GP FOR INCLUDING:- COUGHS AND COLDS, SORE THROAT, HAYFEVER, CHEST INFECTIONS, EARACHE, DIARRHOEA AND VOMITING, DIZZINESS, CONSTIPATION, THRUSH, ALLERGIC REACTIONS, BACK PAIN, WOUND INFECTIONS, SINUSITIS, CHEST PAINS, INFECTED BITES, ALL CHILDHOOD INFECTIOUS DISEASES - YOU MAY BE ABLE TO SEE THE ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER SOONER THAN A GP. IF YOU ARE UNSURE IF YOU CAN BE SEEN PLEASE ASK A MEMBER OF OUR RECEPTION TEAM
